The Rest of God

God is simply reminding us that our roles are limited. He’s giving us a gift of rest and he’s reminding us that it’s him, and it’s always been him, who will bring this work to fruition. And when God works, it is always good.

Happy to be heading back to the US late tonight! (Though I wont arrive there until about 48 hours after I leave here - an even longer trip than on my way here!) It was a good and successful quick trip here to Madagascar, and now everythings set for us to return here, but its definitely no fun to travel without Lora. Big thanks though to Victor for all of his constant help and also to Pastor Christophers family for hosting us with very warm hospitality! Please pray for my safe return travel and for our last month in the US after that.

A couple pictures taken today of the northern part of Tana, the capital city. One thing Ive always been impressed by regarding Tana is how its still surrounded by and interspersed with rice fields. Even in the largest and by far the most developed city in the country (and its at least 10x larger than the next largest), its still evident that simple agriculture is the basis for their way of life.Image attachment
